This page applies to orders delivered to an address in Australia. It sits alongside our general refund policy and takes precedence wherever the two differ.

Shipping

Free shipping on every order. There is no minimum and no threshold to reach.

Delivery in 8 to 15 days. Australian orders ship directly from our manufacturing partner rather than being routed through Amsterdam, which is both faster and cheaper than sending them the long way round. You will receive tracking as soon as the parcel is lodged.

Nothing to pay on delivery. Orders under A$1,000 attract no Australian customs duty and no border GST. Gatz is not currently registered for Australian GST, so no GST is charged at checkout either. The price you see is the price you pay.

If it has not arrived within 30 days, email support@houseofgatz.com and we will refund your order in full.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing on this page or anywhere else on this site limits those rights. Where anything we have written is inconsistent with the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law applies. That includes items bought on sale, which carry exactly the same consumer guarantees as anything else we sell.

If something is wrong with your order

Email support@houseofgatz.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph.

For orders under A$100 we will refund or replace without asking you to send anything back. Return postage from Australia costs more than the item does, so there is no sense in either of us paying it. Keep the item, pass it on, or dispose of it as you prefer.

If you have changed your mind

We accept change-of-mind returns within 30 days of delivery, on unused items in their original packaging. Return postage on a change-of-mind return is at your cost. Please contact us first so we can give you the correct address, as parcels sent back without contacting us cannot be processed.

Where your order comes from

Gatz is a design house registered in Amsterdam. Our fans, foulards and clips are manufactured to our specification by our partner in Guangdong, and Australian orders are shipped directly from there.
